OFMSW TREATMENT PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BIOGAS

An incorporated process meant to treat and recycle homemade thrash. The project take place inside of Centro Integrato di Cascina Maggiore, sited in between Comune di Giussago (PV) and Comune di Lacchiarella (MI); with the idea of making a new system capable of producing high quality compost and biogas for agricultural needs. Everything will be placed over an area of about 32, 3 thousands meters squared.

Thanks to this new process, it will be possible to produce an amount of bio-methane close to 8 million meter cubed per year that, once again, will take place near Centro Integrato’s network as a source for automobiles’ fuel. In fact, bio-methane is considered as an alternative to oil’s derivatives.

The usage of A2A Ambiente’s product will be able to satisfy a fleet of around 270 buses, strongly influencing the production of CO2 caused by fossils’ derivatives.
